| Duties and Responsibilities |
- Assists a District Clerk of the Peace II, III and/or Magistracy Registrar and Clerk of the Court administration of a Magisterial District Court Office.
- Assists the Court Manager and Assistant Court Manager in implementing and
maintaining Court policies and procedures.
- Supervises of a group of employees engaged in responsible clerical work and other functions of employees engaged in quasi-judicial and quasi-legal clerical work.
- Assists in planning, assigning and reviewing the work of a group of subordinates
engaged in quasi-legal and quasi-judicial, clerical, fiscal and other related duties in a Magisterial District.
- Seeks the advice of superiors in the handling of difficult problems and the Law.
- Special assignments may be received orally or in writing from superiors and work is subject supervision and review.
- Performs elements of the duties of ex Officio Justice of the Peace and a Commissioner of Oaths.
- May be appointed Chairman of a Licensing Committee.
- Performs related work as may be required

| Knowledge |
- Knowledge of Court and Public Service procedures.
- Knowledge of the Criminal and Civil Laws and Regulations of the country.
- An understanding of the Constitution and of the Principles of Natural Law.

| Skills and Abilities |
- Excellent supervisory skills.
- Ability to assist in the planning and supervision of the work of office staff in a Magisterial Court.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
- Ability to prepare and provide reports.
|
| Minimum Experience and Training |
- Training as evidenced by a Certificate of Advanced Level Education and Court.
- Paralegal certification.
- Experience or understanding of Court or Court Office Procedures.
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training may be accepted.
- A degree in a related field will be an asset
